We're Home!!!

Well, we're back from our trip up to Spokane, WA.  We had such a great time visiting with my Mom, Dann and the kids.  Seeing Ian and Jessie and their new little one was wonderful too.  He is such a cutie pie.  Here are some shots taken by the beautiful Molly Hannula =D  Enjoy!

Ya, it was pretty cold - it was around 24 degrees when this pic was taken.  I have absolutely no desire to live in a place that gets this cold.  I love to be outside too much and you  can't exactly stake a stroll outside without your boogers freezing to your nose.

My little guy - isn't he cute?!

He was not too happy about the cold either.  This was the only time he didn't cry when I took him outside.  He had this awesome little snow onsie on that I got from Amvets for $5!  So, he was nice and warm =D

Here's the fam! I miss them already.  It was such a blast seeing everyone again.  Dann is doing  AWESOME!!! His speech is coming along very well- he was initiating conversations again, chiming in and showing his sense of humor.  He seemed like he was very excited that he was able to communicate better and was much more motivated to be around everyone.  My Mom is doing good - they just put an offer on a gorgeous house out in the country part on 5 acres!

Ian and Jessie are doing so well adjusting  to their new lives as parents.  Please pray for them as they are going to be going back to work in February and will be juggling that, school and parenthood all at once.

Love you all!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Years!!!

Kai's first Christmas - the only thing he really paid attention to was the Christmas  tree.

... Can you blame him?

We went to visit my mom's twin sister, Cynthia and her family as well as my mom's oldest sister, Luan and her son Justin.  We had so much fun and it was really hard to go home.  It was the only time I got with my side of the family since my Mom and Dann and the kiddos are all moved up to Washington =(  sniff...sniff..sniff

We had great fun being domestic and making gingerbread cookies -  I LOVE FROSTING!!!

Ryan and his little dude hangin' out on the couch while us girls did the cooking =)

Happy 2009!!!!
